I've got to price up a job and one of the kids bedrooms is covered in stickers and posters with a lot of Blu Tack and general sticker glue.

What would your recommendation be to rid the walls of the contaminants ?
It's not just the odd bit here and there, All four walls are going to be covered in the sticky oily crapola. :scared:

    Cheers in advance.

Virosol or citrus cleaner of some sort..I've found a good wash is all that's needed. Never had it stain through paint myself. wb stain blocker over if you feel it needs it. Be interested to hear if anyone has had stains through from blu tac

This may have mentioned before. Sand the c**p out of the walls.

I had a few commercials with it (plus thousands of staples), removed it then coverstained it all to be safe.
To remove just used a hamilton scraper, to memory.

I would get the home owner to keep the contaminants out of the room while you get on and remove the blu tack
