Got this as freebie from the Festool rep, there was the Festool logo on the handle that's worn-out.
I was cutting groove in the ceiling when the HO entered the room and at the same time the blade flu in his direction missing his head few milimetres the handle was still in my hand.

Why is a Festool Rep giving out second hand and worn out freebies?

    The thing was brand new.

Why bloody blade separated like that is the question here.

@Tomcio Oh, I thought because the logo was worn on the handle, it had been used before many times.

Because it’s cheap Chinese made crap where the blade is “glued” onto the handle ?
The same ones I use are full tang so that can’t happen

That's a hard way to cut grove. Electric Multi tool and hold vacuum up to catch dust. That's what I do.
Anyway. Good excuse to buy purdy multifunction tool now..

Purdy is solid. Given mine some abuse. Bahco I rate for quality tools and got my eye on this twin blade.

I prefer to use Stanley blade as the cut is much cleaner on the plasterboard compared with the saw blade.. I use multi tool as well as hand saw and follow with the knife.
This particular cut was just light raking off the crack.
    Yes have foldable Purdy too.
Bahco is not quality anymore.. (Sandvik was) I have the carbide scrappers where the threads from the mount screw is gone after about 10 blade changes.
I have the tap/die set so can repair it but its nuisance.

Can someone explain me the beetlejuice please.. I don't know what is that
