What filler do you use/prefer for your kitchens Neil?

Very nice  Great colour choices, did you aid in that dept or was it "designer" specc'd for you?

Can I ask which fillers at what stages you used? (well I 'spose just did ask it, lol).

Ha ha CCG beat me to it, lol.

I use the Toupret interior filler, red box. I have, however found in the last 12 months or so it is not so fine, making it no good for the tiny inperfections.

For the tiny perfections I now use their ready mixed fine surface filler in the blue tub, it has great adhesion and rubs down to a very good finish, it also rubs down very well, very easily

    No chance!

It is a big old drum though

I always go and see the Decs on the jobs, have a chat, keep an eye open for little tips
    Pass on hints

On this job they had shed loads of prep using easifill, then hand sanding:eek:mgblink:

Took my Ceros and festool extractor in for them the next day

He is now looking getting one:thumbsup:

    decided by IT

Those pics miss off about a third of the kitchen

I'll take more when I go back to do a dresser

Was this a refresh or new? Trying to guess when you filled? Did you prime eveything then fine fill or was that an original paint job being gone over.

Does look impressive BTW and certainly a good size.

Nice job, just the right colour in my mind, always helps things along.

Surprising amount of filling - must be a few years old?

    New fit

Comes in primed, in the workshop

    first coat eggshell

That was a second fill after first coat of Eggshell

    Two more top coats

Forgot to say I get the shop to prime close to finish colour

only shows about 2/3 of it

    That was second fill

I have to get every little nick

So spend hours with a lead light and torch shining it across the surfaces

Also you must not be able to see any brush marks until you're 6 inches away from it
