    Took a photo today of a bloke working opposite me, his ladder actually in a main road, applying masonry paint in the pouring rain with the light fading, no cutting in and watched him bashing the roller up into the soffit to get the paint up the wall as far as possible. Can't wait to see what it looks like tomorrow :biggrin:

    @RHP Like a lot of bashers out there, they'll probably get away with it because all that the client sees is colour going on a wall which equals "progress". This makes them happy. Some HO's don't seem to look past that.

    I'm just going through some photos as I'm looking to add some more stuff to my website this month.
    Stumbled upon these photos I had taken as evidence before starting this bathroom adaptation. Mitres were not their best points!!!

    Best way to seal a wall before lining?

    Ha ha was about 10 went to Newquay for me hols in 6 weeks hols,sat on the beach to long,never done it again very painful.i had a argument with a plasterer who know all about everything and said he allways pva the walls,that's the proper way to seal new plaster and any body could paint where as plastering was a real skill,nobody liked him on site,I wonder why

    It don't take much effort to sandwich bag a switch/socket up to protect, does it rowland? :no:
