Gotta have a snort before breakfast, keeps ya going all day!
What a tit!
Does that mean he dispense's with ladders for the high bits
Maybe he's trying to wean himself off the brown(ing)
What a Charlie
About the only straight line he's ever going to produce.
Aye he'll be 'floating' high for sure
Why on earth would he put that photo on?
Hope he gets less and less calls now for work.
He's sniffing gypsum powder, way of checking the batch freshness..very professional
@mistcoat he’s obviously just clicked on it by mistake when he was uploading his photos!
Must have why would ya put that on there ,was prob high as a kite when he did .
Another turd to polish......
Loosely referred to as plastering....
The camera just doesn’t show how utterly crap the plastering is.
Small loft extension after mist coat. How much filling ????? Every wall, ceiling and join was rubbish, utter rubbish.
Bloody bollocuks work that is . How do the HO let them get away with it!
What sander is that @RonyT ?
Apologies for how the pics came out above, no idea what happened there !
One of these mate. https://www.toolstop.co.uk/evolutio...th-led-torch-and-6-sanding-sheets-240v-p73714
Trouble is I feel sorry and embarrassed on these jobs and tend to take a bit of a hit knowing full well the job will not be as good as it should be.
A answer would be to shoot the plasterer in the head but this is frowned upon in our society!
Did you see the plastering before pricing @RonyT?
I did a refurb last year and put in a 'extras' invoice to sort out some of the plastering as I'm not taking 'a hit', as @3 spires puts it, anymore.
I can sit at home and earn nothing, don't have to graft sanding some idiots crap work to earn nothing!
The perfect response. V well put.
Did I see the plastering before? Yes and no. In the loft extension the builder hadn't reconnected power and I didn't have a site light to view and it was a bit dim up their.
In hindsight, the builder probably hadn't reconnected power so they couldn't actually see the chit state of the plastering ! That's probably on me and I have made a judgemental error when I priced it.
The whole job is on a VERY tight time frame as the H/O is heavily pregnant so "it just needs to be finished". They appreciate and accept that the finish isn't going to be perfect, but as always, that doesn't sit well with me. It's my name on what's visible.
100% agree with your last line and it's sentiment.... I just can't help myself.
Guess I am my own worst enemy
