From the house with the horrible flaking cornice.
a few before shots
Pps standard... Nice... How did you sort that cornice in the end.. Remind me (us) I like the colour... Smart...
Looks great mate
Brush or xvlp ?
That’s some transformation!
Top job mate, whats the colour scheme?
@Waynetta Sweet as a nut, I say sweet as a nut!
A very nice change to see a colour on the frames as opposed to folks usual choice of white.
What a transformation! Great job @Waynetta
Lovely job there Netta, client must be very happy with it.
Very tidy @Waynetta , nice to see some colour with a bit of heft on the panelling...
Top draw that
Digging the colour scheme
Nice work !
Lovely job, how many hours in all netta?
Xvlp on ceiling cornice only. Rest brush and roller. Cheers
Too many but customer happily paid the extra. 15 days and the ceilings alone took 5 days although some prep on walls between filler drying. Top landing had new cornice fitted but all corner joins were poor and the mouldings left a bit to be desired so lots of filling there. Also the new plastered walls had absolutely loads of hairline cracks to rake and fill.
Dark colour is Knoxville gray. Almost dark green in some light. Love that one.
Top colour is Edgecombe gray. All Aura Matt. First time I’ve used Aura on architrave and skirting. Well impressed.
Nearly broke me . Wire brush and 1” filler knife flicking the scabby bits. Not a pleasant job and had to stop myself getting too fussy as would have ended up stripping the lot and being there another couple days of hell.
that is a finish you would expect from a quality decorator nice one @Waynetta
You did well, a lot of hard graft in there and the end result makes it all worth while. One too be proud of .
That looks classy, bet customers were chuffed
Thanks for the very nice comments all. It was a hard graft job but very satisfying
