    Now he's thrown a staircase in on the thread x2 x2 :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I love clear coats on stairs. On any wood really, but stairs are sexy for some reason.

    Knockdown the price :scratchhead:
    If they've accepted the original price, how can they knock it down?

    Tell him the Mongolian Polish is just as effective but £50 cheaper.

    The longer he leaves it the greasier the handrail is getting!!

    Yeah, hear what you say on the greasy hand marks etc. The end cost can escalate after much faffing with stuff.

    Just a quick update...got word today that the staircase is being "french polished" by an aussie bloke who works in Lidl!! It gets my goat, they pay out over 27 grand to have it built then give some shop assistant 1500 quid to "french polish" it!!

    Let him do it. When he takes over two and a half months to do it because he has to be at Lidl's and he is there till 8pm each night trying to catch up, the HO will soon get pizzed off with him.

    I hope he totally screws it up :yes:
