That front door is a piece of work Lewis. Wouldn,t be out of place in Downing Street... We love the Demidekk as well, if Jotun stuck some English on their pots we would sell a lot more.. Congrats on a great looking job young man

A note on Homestrip/Tradestrip - I'd definitely cover it in plastic, as it keeps it from drying out and therefore it continues to work for longer. I was using it yesterday, some numpty had 'sealed' a crack between painted plasterboard and plain green oak beams, using water-based gripfill (I think) and paint - getting it all over the oak. One coat of Homestrip, covered with plastic, a few hours later, peeled off the plastic and the Homestrip had softened the wb gripfill and paint enough to scrape them off, then I just used a green scourer to get off any last bits in the rough oak and to clean off any remainds of paint or stripper.

It normally takes 2+ applications of Homestrip/Tradestrip to get through more layers of paint.

Tradestrip/Homestrip is a superb product IMO! As mentioned, covering with plastic is what aids the stripping and to prevent drying out.
Also, a great job, Mr. H. Looks a darn site better after you & your teams touch +1

    Looks mint, HarriDec!

I need to try some of this Jotun gear. There's a small independent paint shop down the street which has a 'Jotun products available here' sign on the window, never feckin open though.
