It's great getting to work on a new build where good work is appreciated. House was sprayed 1st coat by a paint contractor that I sub for. Then I finished it out. Ceilings were finished by him apart from a few touch ups.

Walls were finished by me. All timber was factory primed and got 2 final coats with water based advance satinwood.

All paint used was Fleetwood (Irish paint)
Stairs got 3 coats of lacquer.

And the best part was that there was hardly any tradesmen on site !

@Irish Painter. Really like the look of the finish on these wood doors, what did you use ?
Got a nice job coming up and that finish and sheen would be bob on.

    Cheers RonyT,

Walls - Calm Cloud (light grey)
    Timber - Signal White

schitt, I thought I had mentioned doors on post #1... Doors came finished!! Sorry. But I did do the stairs if that's any use to you? I used clear lacquer

Here's the white timber up close after final coat. I think the paint lays off well. Others might disagree..

What a pleasure to be working on an empty newbuild.
