We don't know if you realise this. But it has been noted that some of you are getting in touch with Vendors or Members via your profile posts (Status) and posting up your phone numbers/addresses.

Just so you know, your profile posts (Status) isn't a private area. Engaging in a Private Conversation is a better way.
And in saying that:- Please do not store any private information (credit card or identity related details) on your account here. PPS won't be held responsible for damages incurred by storing or sending such information using our services.

    Ta! :doff:

Just to reiterate to all members that posts you make via your profile (Status Updates), are Public Posts.
Posting of sensitive info, phone numbers, anything you do not wish the general public or Groooogle crawl all over, don't post it there.

You have been notified, yet again :winky:

DO NOT POST SENSITIVE INFORMATION IN THE PROFILE/STATUS UPDATE SECTION.

Last posting of this message now everyone!

Inadvertently today, one member posted their personal address on their Profile/Status Update thinking this was where to send a Private Conversation, or Private Message as it was once called. Not a big deal if you have a forum signature which leads to your business url which has your business address shown. But if you happen to post other sensitive content there, you could be targeted, so I ask again, please be mindful of what you post there.

If you do post personal/private stuff there and you are targeted, please understand that Painters Pit Stop, its affiliates, and any other entity referenced herein are not responsible for the results of your use of that forum section. As a member, you are solely responsible for learning how the forum works as much as forum staff are.
