Pole sander then brush on a pole.

If you haven't got a pole sander its probably best to duck tape a scraper to the end of a long pole, wrap some sandpaper around the scraper duck taping again and bang on from there. Half way up a ladder! You'll want some eye protection naturally.

Yeah mate looked as old as the ark mind , but sturdy enough. All you need ( in my bad guessing!!) would be some exterior ply for floor section and some joist wood what's that 4by2? then old roof ladder hacked off ends and attached, very heath robinson but got us by!!
Could have done with you down at Penrith just in been working all weekend subby's only went and fecked off and left me at that job on corner !!!

You need to put scaffold up and stop risking your life to save the client a few quid.

can you get something heavy enough to foot your ladders? i did a job last year two dorma bay windows half way up a roof, all i did was lay my ladders on the roof flat, then footed them with my van.
also just finished a job yesterday where i used a scaffolding board laid on the tile and stood on that! works wonders for tuning up your arse muscles ive never clenched them so much lol
